DRUG INVESTIGATIONS

The Special Investigations Division is primarily responsible for investigating drug-related felony offenses. This unit is composed of deputies who have received the same basic training as patrol deputies and advanced training in the investigation of drug-related crimes. SID investigates drug offenses throughout the Wiregrass area in cooperation with other federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies.
